I would like to take the opportunity of it being National Carers Week to say on behalf of the Chairman, myself, our trustees and all our members, a very warm and heartfelt thank you to you for your care, your dedication and your hard work.
Because of you, and colleagues like you, Langdon is able to offer some of the best quality care to our members, and continue to nurture and support them in accordance with their changing needs.
It takes a very special type of person to be a good carer. Calm under pressure, kind and caring, whilst also being responsible, reliable and professional. It is certainly by no means an easy job. But the rewards can be huge – to know that you have supported someone to become more able to do things independently, to make their own choices, to do the most basic things which enhance their self-esteem and sense of value.
And these milestones are made possible by you, and your colleagues across our care teams in London and Manchester.
Thank you for being at the absolute heart of our Langdon family, for being so committed and passionate about making a difference to the lives of so many people.
My best wishes to you
